About Our Speakers
Marty Johnson is a technical fellow at 3D Systems and is part of the core team that developed 3D Systems’ Figure 4 platform. With a background in mechanical engineering, Marty has extensive experience working with injection mold tools and different plastics, and brings this perspective to his work with additive manufacturing to delivers solutions that balance speed, accuracy, cost, and performance.
Matt Westman is a senior materials characterization scientist at 3D Systems with over a decade of experience in polymer development, and is an expert in mechanical, thermal, and thermal-mechanical characterization. Matt is a leader in developing weathering and long-term stability characterization at 3D Systems. As an active member of multiple standards organizations including ASTM and CMH-17, Matt is committed to bringing the next generation of production-ready polymers to additive manufacturing.
